First Lady Darlene S. Carroll was born on October 7, 1969, to Deacon Joseph and Mother Irene Simms. She is the fifth child and youngest daughter of her parents. She was educated in the Anne Arundel County Public School System.
First Lady Darlene was baptized at the tender age of nine at Antioch Apostolic Church and was filled with the Holy Ghost at the age of twelve. Since being filled with the Holy Ghost, First Lady Carroll has been a devoted servant of her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
Evidence of First Lady Carroll's dedication to her Saviour is further evident by her appointment to the office of Junior Missionary at the age of sixteen under the leadership of Bishop William Gerald of Lighthouse Apostolic Church in Annapolis, Maryland. She has worked diligently in other areas of the church as a member of the Evangelism Team, Usher Board, and Drama Departments.
First Lady Darlene S. Carroll was joined in holy matrimony to Elder Charles E. Carroll on September 14, 1996. From this union, First Lady Carroll and her husband were blessed with two healthy sons: Jairus Jonathan Carroll and Malik Benjamin Carroll.
In 1997, First Lady Carroll became an entrepreneur with the establishment of Precious Moments Daycare in Annapolis, Maryland. She uses this opportunity to witness to all who enter through the doors of her business; many have been blessed with this experience. For many, this is the beginning of the development of their relationships with God.
First Lady Carroll also assisted her husband with the establishing of New Creations Deliverance Ministries, Inc., located in Glen Burnie, Maryland which was established in 2001. Not only is First Lady Carroll a wife, mother, entrepreneur, teacher, and mentor who is known for the exceptional anointing on her life; she is also the founder of "A Woman's Cry Ministries." This ministry addresses the issues that women deal in their lives and offers encouragement and solutions to the issues through the word of Jesus Christ, counseling, prayer, and the greatest gift of salvation.
In 2008, First Lady Darlene S. Carroll enrolled in Alpha Bible Institute where she is continued her studies.
